Orginal Post: johnny1974: I have only had about 3 months training in jujutsu which helped me navigate quite a few street fights when I was younger. I love martial arts and would love to train in bjj but am faced with a probable neck surgery. Has anyone heard of training after those set of circumstances.

Thank you for your reply

Yes, I have heard of it.>

Post: johnny1974:

That gives me hope.>

Post: Tatsukage:

Back when I was in BJJ, one of our instructors actually started back into it after a neck surgery. You'll just have to take it easy for a while.>

Post: The BadBoy:

I know 5 people who have had neck surgey and still train. Three are stil doing BJJ and two are doing judo. just take it easy for a while.

Actually one of teh Judop guys has had knee surgey on both knees, neck surgey and shoulder surgey aswell 8O>

Post: Haas:

Post: zefff:

Post: nbotary:

I've never had neck surgery, but I've strained my neck on a couple of occasions performing cunnilingus before.

At least it was worth it... !!! :D>

Why are you lying? I heard you pulled it trying to perform something else on yourself.  >

Nothing is as good for healing as humor. Thtanks for the laudhs guys.>

Post: nbotary:

Dscott - dude, you will never know the enjoyment of Sith choking your chicken!!! >

Post: Bloodybirds:

I have had ACL knee surgery, rotator cuff surgery, major hernia surgery, have spinal stenosis in two neck vertebrae currently causing numbness sometimes in the arm, three bulging disks, and numerous other scars. I love this shit!!! And most were from my Shaolin master's training, not my Ying Jow or current tai chi/white crane training. Almost to the point of ordering a new body for post age 50 stress syndrome.

Oh, and NB, glad you are choking the chicken rather than choking the cock......LOL.>
