Discuss?

This is one example where some MMA training would have come in handy. He got the clinch (almost) but had no idea what to do with it. Also, he basically fell into guard, it would be nice if he did something with it.

One other thing...I know its important for him to go for his weapon (in this case pepper spray) but damn, to be so singleminded about it that you catch an asswhooping in the process?

Post: confusingDot:

i personally like getting beat in the face while in front of a camera.>

I thought the exact same thing.

Got Jits?>

Well in my opinion people who dont know how to defende themselfs and other shouldnt work in preasons.>

Post: Tease T Tickle:

Where were the other guards? The text on the camera said "Booking Hall," which should have AT LEAST two other corrections officers present.>

Post: NeverMan:

Right off hand I would say that there is a lot more to that incident that meets the eye. As soon as the other gaurds "show up" the "frenzied" prisoner suddenly stops and obeys at will?? How did the Security Gaurd get caught in the corridor with a prisoner? Smells fishy, very fishy.>

Post: zefff:

Was a bit odd. Dont think the pepper spray would have saved him anyway. Dude needs to learn how to stop getting his face smashed in.>

Post: wingchun_jeetkunedo:

There are a couple of things that struck mymind as soon as i saw that clip.......why the hell were the other guards so late on the scene,
why hadn't the prisoner been handcuffed,
he should of been given a baton or a rubber bullet pistol
you know everything in that clip shows carelessness.>

Post: UKE03743:

I'm a detention officer at a jail...we don't carry batons/rubber bullet guns. Would be nice...but not near as fun as training my BJJ/Vale Tudo.

I've caught a beatdown or two at the jail, which i why i train as hard as i do... if i got lucky enough to fall into a gaurd when i first started...i wouldn't have known what to do with it either...now i do!>

Welcome UKE03743! ...Can I just call you UKE for short? :)>

Welcome UKE!!

I don't recall seeing this video when it first was posted. Brutal. I can't believe that he was spending so much time getting the mace that he couldn't even think about mounting an offensive. In that situation, mace would have done just as much to him. It was too enclosed to use it.>
