To you, in your respective art, what is budo? What principals are involved and what does it mean to be a real budoka to you?
To me, the biggest thing of budo, is awareness and adaptability. Following and fighting for a set of ideals, whether it be on the street or on the political floor. I see being a budoka as pursuing a never ending quest to improve myself and make the environment around me better for everyone else. (not talking green peace here  )

Try to constantly improve myself. I know everyone says that, but I truly learned the meaning of it when I became an uchi-deshi. Shugyo - a student of life. I try to take any situation and apply it in a way such that I can grow from it. Obviously easier said than done, but I find that physical, manual labor helps me to be more aware of the moment and myself.>
