Orginal Post: DethStryque: Without a doubt,I think that Floyd is the leading candidate for the most gifted fighter since Sugar Ray Leonard. What makes him more appealing to me--fight wise--than my ace ROY JONES JR. or some of my other favorites--like DE LA HOYA,SUGAR SHANE,HOPKINS,PAC-MAN,BARRERA,and the like--is that he is the complete package with knockout instincts. He has stopped almost everyone...and did so against world-class competition, and DOES EVEN BETTER IN HIS BIGGEST FIGHTS.
I flat out don't think there is ANYONE at 140 who can see him.His best fights would be at 147 against guys like SHANE MOSLEY,OSCAR DE LA HOYA,SPINKS,and JUDAH.I think that Floyd's biggest problem would be against SHANE.What do yall think?
Post: Kyorgi:
Judah wont stand a chance against floyd. Shane is in the middle of changing his style and I dont think he can beat Floyd either...I dont think anyone could beat him but I'd put money on Kostya Tszyu, Ricky Hatton, and Atonio Margarito to give him trouble...
btw...you think floyd is more entertaining than Pac?!?!?!>

I didnt revive this thread.
But it is relevant if you consider the circumstances.
May 2007, possibly retirement bouts for each after an emotional PBF stated 1 more fight and he will retire after beating Baldomir. Floyd stating that he can beat anyone under 154 pounds will fight Oscar De La Hoya at junior middleweight. Blood is thicker than water? Not to Mayweather sr. who is training Oscar to face his son.
