Orginal Post: azreil: Does anyone know how to make a homemade heavy bag? Right now I have got a ses bag (USN issue), however I don't know what to fill it with.
sand is to heavy(50 pnds fills maybe an 1/5)
I also have an old matress to possibly secure to a tree trunk in my back yard but that might be to hard a surface to be hitting constantly, as well as the fact it won't move.
Any ideas ar welcome. :?:

You can fill it with old clothes. If you don't have enough you can just pick some up at a thrift store. They'll start to settle and be hard but not overly heavy.>
