Jeez! They couldnt of thought of a worse headline could they FFS! Armed with confidence???...patronising bastards!
Maybe there is a cultural difference here but I dont see what the big deal is. Fairplay to the kid, it sounds great what he is doing and I bet that one arm is awesome! He should not be made to feel like its a big deal though or he is some kind of freak who overcame his affliction! He is a human being! But fairplay for him just dealing with it and moving on.
Reading it though I couldnt help but think of the one arm boxer scene in Samo Hung/Yuen Biao's Prodigal Son:
"Ive trained for 18 years to be as good with this one arm as I was with my other!...and now Ive tracked you down, I shall have my revenge!!!"
....after a beating where he gets his one remaining arm broken...
"You lost old cripple...Now go train your legs!"
  >

I hadn't even noticed that. I'm sure it was a mistake but they still should have edited that out.
I found the story very inspiring. I didn't think they were making him out to be a freak. I think that anyone that overcomes an adversity like that is inspiring.>
