Klitchko VS Williams

Orginal Post: zefff: this weekend coming!

Poor Danny, I saw a short clip of him being interviewed and he says: "yeah, me being world champ would be a dream".

Kinda shows his mentality as he should be saying: "me being world champ WILL be the fullfilment of my dream!"

I say Klitchko in the forth by stoppage. 8)

Good luck to Danny though and I hope he's got a good deal. Fairplay to him for going for it. Imagine if he ever won though  Danny champion of the world!

Post: The BadBoy:

Man I want Danny to beat the shit outta Klitchko, but it aint gonna happen. But knowing Danny he has trained his ass of for this fight and you never know, Klitchko may not be taking Danny seriously. Well here's hoping anyways. Klitchko is the 6th by ref stoppage.>

Post: zefff:

Yeah I always like honest fighters and Danny is one of them. I would luv to see him win cos he has taken shit over the years when all he has tried to do is give his best. I just want him to give a good account of himself because even if he lost, if he shows he can ride the Klitchko wave he might still have some options...well okay theres always Herbie!

But if he ever could win it would be hilarious to see Audley come running!>

Post: The BadBoy:

Don't get me started on Herbie. Biggest waste of talent for a long time. Audley, yeah. It would be hilarious if Williams won and told him to go suck a lemon. Adley has done good for himself as far as business goes. But I don't think he has the aptitude to be a legitimate world champ. Don't get me wrong. i think the guy has is as intelligent as they come. But sometimes you wanna see as much heart aswell as mind.>

Post: zefff:

What you like Herbie? I liked him when he was younger and before he went nuts but he was never big enough to be a real heavyweight was he?

Hatton is fighting too. Dont put too much faith in my chat but I reckon Olivera will take him in his own backyard. Will be a good scrap though.>

Post: The BadBoy:

I liked Herbie when he was younger, i actually saw something there when he was fighting but Yeah he's been just wack since he went cukoo.

I'll agree to Olivera against Hatton. Hatton in my opinion cuts too easy. this fight has a good chance of being stopped on a bad cut.>

Here is my bet...

Klitchko vs Williams.....................1>

Post: Umy:

Good look danny, I aint gonna predict nothing this time though, i swallowed my words after tyson so ill leave this one with a 'no comment'>

Post: zefff:

Ha ha! we were talking about this at training tonite. Everyone is well behind Danny...but not much hopes TBH. :?>

Post: Umy:

Yeah, oh well, either way it'll be funny, guess we'll only know after the fight >

Post: The BadBoy:

Just read a report that there may be a problem if the British Boxing Board of Control see Williams beard as an issue. he has said he will not shave it off and there seemd to be specualtion that it might be abrasive to his opponent.>

Post: zefff:

WTF!!!! thats ridiculous! simple answer to that - dont rub his head with your head!

FFS heavyweight champion of the world cant be put off his game by a naturally occuring irritating growth of hair! WTF!?!?>

Post: The BadBoy:

I don't think Klitchko has a problem with it. Just the governing body. Same way they made Joe Frazier shave before he got to fight Joe Buggner (sp).>

Post: zefff:

its bollox man! I think Williams beard looks well cool. Much better than before when he had a little goatee. I cant see any basis for the argument that he should shave because the only way it could irritate Klitchko is if Klitchko's head comes into contact with Williams jaw!....and isnt that against the rules???>

Post: zefff:

Williams weighs in at 19st 4lbs!

He was 18st 9lbs against Tyson.>

Post: The BadBoy:

Could be that he thinks he doesn't need to be as mobile for Klitchko as he did for tyson. Or could be he feels he need to be stronger so he can push Klitchko around. Or and hope this isnt true but could he that he's a fat bastard and not in shape. will have to wait and see. Whats Klitchko weighing these days. That may have been a deciding factor in the weight Williams weighs in at.>

Post: zefff:

yeah I guess the strength and mass will be an issue but I hope he is in shape. C'mon Danny my lad!

I really want to see Williams vs Harrison! 8)

Danny came in 20lbs heavier than Klitchko from what I heard.>

Post: Umy:

Unluckly danny, vitali did his work last night, stoppage in the 8th

Danny showed a lot of heart and kept getting up after being knocked down in the 1st, 3rd and 7th, in the 8th the ref stopped the fight.>

Post: zefff:

I didnt see it in the end but I wish I had. I saw the buildup and it did seem Danny was up for it. He's just so laid back its hard to work out whats going on in his head. Klitcho defo seemed to be to much for him from what I heard though.

And Hatton is meant to have punished Olivera.>

Post: setsu nin to:

Unfortunatly I didnt see the fight, but I like results!!!

Can someone write something more about fight???>

Post: zefff:

 not a mark on him!

Not enough head and waist movement from Danny me thinks. But its easy for me to chat from behind the safety of my broadband connection. Like I said I hope Danny had a good deal and who knows, this might not be the end for him. Who knows.

Seems my dream of him KOing Harrison has been set back....again! :?>

Post: setsu nin to:

Thanks BadBoy, thats what I was looking for!>

Post: The BadBoy:

Zeff, why you hate Audley so much? Kinda sound like me talking about cro cop >

Post: zefff:

I dont hate Harrison. Its just that I get irritated by people who have big chat with no action. Who has he fought? And those 6 rounders were a joke! If you are a pro, you are a pro - so fight like a pro! Look how old the man is! He aint no spring chicken!

Someone like Amir Khan, if he turned pro I could understand him only going 6 rounds but he is a youngster! The A-force though, is not! :x >

Post: Umy:

Danny showed heart, no-one can deny him that, getting up 3 times, while he had one eye completely closed, and very little to support him as far as legs were concerned, he fought on bravely, but that night he didnt have what it took to beat Vitali, well Danny's idol being Rocky Marciano I can honestly say the guy showed a bit of heart like him, as one writer wrote 'Danny showed a glimpse of heart from the golden era of boxing', but unfortunately, his 'hit me till you get tired' act didnt work that night >
