Goodstuff, being around those cardio-freaks should do wonders for your workrate. You still rolling then? WHere do you find the time man? 8O>
Post: 8LimbsScientist:
Nevermind that, where do you find the money!!!
I can only afford Muay Thai >

thnx Bamboo!
Zefff - yeah, i still roll. the beauty of this boxing training is that it doesn't coincide with jiu-jitsu or karate. it's a small group of guys with an awesome trainer and they train at several different gyms, monday - friday, from around 3:30-6.
and 8Limbs....prepare for what you're about to hear.....
it's free!!>

Op that IS a good price, and I'm sure Boxing will help your Karate. When did you start Jiu Jitsu? Brazilian or Traditional? You training with Matt?>
Post: opariser1001:
it's traditional but there's a bunch of stuff mixed in that we train like wrestling, BJJ, Judo stuff. i train with Matt and Sensei Hilaire
i love it! though i can't really remember when i started. i have taken a few breaks from it to train for karate tourneys too so...hard to say how long i've really been doing it.>

YAY!! traditional!! (does a little dance) :D>

man so i stopped going to the original boxing trainer because a)costs were introduced, high costs and b) i didn't like his teaching style or agree with his methods
now i go to a different place, which i really like. it's 25 bucks a month which is great and affordable, and the trainers are awesome. i get the kind of boxing training that i want and need.
part of the problem with the old trainer was that when he found out i did another martial art (he found out from someone else) he started tailoring the boxing to my martial art, trying to cut certain things out and add other stuff in - but all i wanted to do was learn good old-fashioned boxing! plus, though he was a good fighter, he had no formal training, so it was hard for him to teach in a way i could understand easily i guess. who knows. point is i'm happy now at the new gym. yay!
boxing + kyokushin + jiu-jitsu = MMA?.........we'll find out later this year>
