Everyone we asked said it was European due to the saber design, but I just saw it on a Japanese sword site. We're looking for the price right now, and maybe a buyer later. Well sword does not looks like katana, but its still Japanese sword. Its handguard is similar to western handguards, its definitely Japanese sword.
