I would love to have one of these places in my city. How do people get fooled by this crap?

Some advice to "soke", at least learn to hold the damned sword if your going to post a pic of yourself on the web and claim a 10th dan!

useless prat! If any of you guys or ladies here on FA learn from him or his "teachers" (and they are famous) please do yourself a favour and join a mcdojo, it'll be better.

ROFLMAO! :lol: I got bored after 3 lines of his CV Bamboo mate, but bearing in mind that I dont know a damn ting about Japanese arts wot is wrong wiv the way he's holding the sword. I can see things wrong from my perspective but can you enlighten me from your point of view?

He spelled "comendation" wrong on his resume :roll:

How could that guy possibly be recognized for having the best school in the US? :evil:

"Tulsa classes are taught by a 10th degree black belt" :lol:>

Post: Iron Knuckles:

Does Karate even have any sword techniques? Doesn't the very definition of Karate mean "empty hand" or something?>

A sword is not a baseball bat and should be held or swung like one.

His right hand should be just under the tsuba while the left hand little finger should be at the very bottom of the handle, leaving roughly a "fists" measurement between the hands. A sword cut is made with the entire body, not the arms. By holding the sword the way he was, he would have had to use muscle to cut. Essentially, you push up "through" the sword to raise it and guide it with the top hand, like cutting wood.

There's also the more worrying fact that despite referring to his style as "Combat Martial Arts" all the way through the text, in the big blue banner heading he has "Combat MATERIAL Arts"...>

Post: Gong||Jau:

It's the art of accumulating material wealth by pretending to teach combat :lol:>
