Orginal Post: Martial-Arts-Blogs: It was exactly 4 years ago that [URL="http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/chronicle/archive/2003/08/05/MN295168.DTL" Alex Gong[/URL was shot and killed. It seems a lot longer then that. I guess quite a bit has happened since his passing. I wasn’t particularly close to him nor did I agree with the way he handled some things. That said, some of my fondest memories of San Francisco, some of my closest friends I’ve met have all revolved around Muay Thai. I have Alex to thank for all of these things.

If it wasn’t for Alex and his tireless effort at promoting Muay Thai and the gym, I probably wouldn’t be [URL="http://www.mymuaythai.com/archives/remembering-alex-gong/#more-221" (more…)[/URL
