Orginal Post: gojuguy: Hi everyone. I just recently moved to college park, MD from northern virginia and am having quite a hard time finding a school that offers several different programs. I know of schools such as Onespirit martial arts and trident academy, which is exactly the type of school I am looking for. The only problem is now that I have relocated, those schools would be nearly impossible to get to (If you know anything about traffic around DC then you understand). I'm primarily interested in BJJ/MT/Aikido (could do without the aikido, but I just like it). So if any of you know of a school such as this (other than the yamasaki academy) it would really help me out alot. Thanks guys.

I trained at this place ( MT ) back in the day, it has now become a hot bed of McDojoism, avoid it like the plague. Unfortunately, it is right near campus. ---> World Martial Arts / World Fighting Arts
There is a Judo club at the College Park Community center and I believe they Host the Maryland Open every once in a while.
I was a P.G. Cop in College Park. :D
P.S What's wrong with Yamasaki's?
Enjoy>

I have heard some negative things about yamasaki's on another board. Is it a good place to train? And is it extremely belt focused?>

I train with Yamasaki's BJJ. I train under Dave Jacobs (Brown 2 stripes). I have no complaints. :D>
