5:30 p.m: hydroxycut and 12 oz. water
6:00 p.m: 4 slices of fat free cheese and a bag of green vegetables, water
8:30 p.m: 1 scoop of protein powder in water, water

Total calories: 2,000
Total Protein: 185 grams
Total Carb: 104 grams
Total Fat: 18.5 grams

Notes:

Today was my first time ever supplementing with hydroxycut. In yesterday's page, I wrote that it was my first day of my cutting (fat loss) phase. Well, I'm considering today my first day of cutting, since I started supplementing with hydroxycut today. I took it as recommended (1 capsule, 3x daily, 1 before breakfast, 1 before lunch, and 1 before dinner) as you can see above. My training for today was deltoids. I did 10 sets x 8-15 reps of deltoids. The exercises I did were a mix of shoulder presses and raising dumbells up while keeping my arms straight. That was intense! I then took about a 45 minute - 1 hour walk around town to burn some calories without sacrificing my hard-earned muscle.

Take care,

Today's Diet and Training

Today was a pig out day for me. What I mean by that is not that I eat junk. That is called a cheat day, and I never cheat. However, every Wednesday (note that this is only once per week), I gorge myself on high quality calories. This helps to speed up the metabolism. I also took a break from training today. I'll continue my training tomorrow.

Post: NeverMan:

When do you train to fight? I mean, not bodybuilding or strength training, but actually practicing your fighting techniques?>

Post: Ironjim:

Hello NeverMan,

Right now, I only practice bodybuilding, because the weather is not permitting me to practice fighting techniques. You see, I don't belong to a dojo. I have a wavemaster and a gym membership. So, I condition by working out and eating right, and during the summer, I'm going to practice my fighting techniques. Thank you for your question :D

As far as training goes I took today off. Tomorrow is my last day of my first week supplementing with hydroxycut. Then on monday, I'll have to start using 6 pills a day. I'll take them the same time (morning, afternoon, evening), but instead of taking one pill at a time, I have to take 2 as the directions state. Well, I think I'm going to do cardio tomorrow. I have a new workout program designed for cutting. I'll post it up here Monday when I start it.

Out of curiosity, what the heck is Splenda?>

Post: Ironjim:

Hello *Gong*Sao*,

Splenda is a no-calorie sweetener made from sugar. It is one of the few sweeteners that can't hurt you, unlike aspartame (found in diet soda) and saccharine (sweet n low). Since it is basically natural and has no calories, I use it a lot :D You can get more information on it from their website www.splenda.com

I use it a lot in various recipes in the "James's Favorite Recipes" section of my website (link below). Thanks you for your question.
