Orginal Post: Indomitable: Since it is easier to mark progress when you have it recorded, I thought I'd start a little journal type thingy for my little brothers  I have two little brothers, so this is one of 2 journals.

The journal I'm starting now is for my powerlifting brother, and I will add comments on his form so next time I can always give him tips and pointers. I'll ask him what he thinks also and put it in here, so it's kinda like an actual journal, except I'm recording it lol.

Post: :

No offense... but this is BS.

I admire you being interested in powerlifting, but this log is ridiculous and doesn't even begin to resemble a powerlifting routine. Who does "0" reps? 15 reps or 15lbs? It looks like you're saying 15lbs, they don't even make a 15lb bar!

Indomitable, come one man.... I don't want to be mean, but this is wrong advice to give anyone, and if someone is doing this, they should reconsider the way they are lifting.

Same thing with your "Bodybuilding Brother">

Post: The BadBoy:

Does this resemble a power lifting routine? not any that I have seen but he could be saying that the first set (15x25) is the warm up set and the last 0 rep is the isometric rep where he holds the weight for as long as he can.

Is this the best routine? maybe not but i do know people who train this way.>

Post: :

Just seems odd.>

Post: Wilhelm von Wänkensteïn:

I thought it seemed a bit odd at first, but now that BadBoy has mentioned it, it seems plausible enough. The main problem here is a complete lack of elaboration.>

Post: legendaryfighter:

I think maybe his brother is starting out. So let himjust do his journal, I will be checking back to see progress. Tell him keep it up.>
