The warrior diet is basically not eating during the day, then pigging out at night. Of course, WHAT you eat, is described in the book. It isn't going to be junk like Doritos and cheeseburgers. From what I understand, the idea behind this diet is that you want your body to go into a fast during the day.
The author says that some people actually feel a spiritual connection during the undereating phase. This is supposed to mimic the eating patterns of the warriors of old, in that they would hunt and gather (not eat) during the day and then pig out at night as they sat around a fire and talked.>
