This is related to a discussion of whether Chinese martial art is the SOLE influence on San Da. I contend that NO, there are many non Chinese influences. I believe there is a strong SAMBO influence. So here are scans from old San Da manuals. They show guys in Sambo outfits, ie LONG SLEEVES, SHORTS and WRESTLING BOOTS. They also show sacrifice throws. So where did this come from? San da was begun as a military project in China in 1925 with the help of SOVIET advisors.
